A 29-year-old man was arrested after Orlando Police Department bicycle officers spotted a vehicle parked outside of a business and discovered drugs and a loaded handgun.
According to OPD, the East Patrol Evening Squad was surveilling neighborhoods on bicycles when they spotted a vehicle with one occupant parked outside of a business on West Central Boulevard at around 1 a.m. on Thursday, April 14.
Officers questioned the occupant inside, Jabarta Moton, and eventually seized seize a loaded handgun, over two ounces of marijuana, Oxycodone, and drug paraphernalia.
Moton is being charged with carrying a concealed weapon, possession of more than 20 grams of cannabis, possession of THC, trafficking in Oxycodone, and violation of probation from a previous drug violation arrest.
