The Special Olympics USA Games 2022 will return to Orlando’s Exploria Stadium this weekend.
The opening ceremony for the games will take place on Sunday, June 5, at 9 a.m. at the stadium, which is located at 655 W Church Street. The doors to the venue open at 7:30 a.m.
Produced by Disney Live Entertainment, the opening ceremony will feature appearances from celebrity games ambassadors, superstar performances, a parade of athletes, and the lighting of the Flame of Hope to officially kick off this year’s games.
The opening ceremony will be nationally televised and will feature 5,500 athletes and coaches from all 50 states and the Caribbean.
