The Florida Department of Health in Orange County will host a series of free immunizations for kindergarteners and seventh graders across the county.
In partnership with Orange County Public Schools, FDOH will provide free school immunizations for Orange County children entering kindergarten and 11-year-old students needing their required seventh grade Tetanus-Diphtheria-Pertussis immunization (TDAP), according to a release from FDOH.
The state requires all students to have required immunizations before school begins, including children entering kindergarten and the required update before a child enters seventh grade.
No appointment is needed but a parent or guardian with a valid ID is required to accompany their child along with their completed consent forms. For more information on the vaccine or TDAP consent form, visit the Orange County Public School District website.
