Julián Guzmán-Madrid, January 14, 2002 ~ June 16, 2022 (age 20) a young man who shone at every moment. The life of the party, the class clown. Julian had a contagious joy and we know that his smile will remain unmatched. His life will always be admired and valued by everyone around him. His outgoing, fearless, resilient and unfiltered personality represented his vibrant character. Being close to Julian meant no dull moments, no escaping his unique and sometimes daring honesty and incomparable charisma. He was not only considered everyone’s older brother, but also an exemplary son, well educated, a loyal friend, and one of the best chefs his family and friends had ever known. His passion for football and drums inspired everyone around him to develop their own talents and be themselves. He was a great leader with the ability to maintain his composure when a game got tough. He always encouraged all the other players to do their best and smile despite a loss. He was not only a devoted soccer player, but also a great worship minister. The feelings that he conveyed to those who watched him play the drums were indescribable, his great passion for a pair of drumsticks in his hands was seen through a great emotion on his face. His love for God was reflected in ministering in praise. A dedicated son of God, who was able to impact many people. He was a role model in all aspects, having God as his priority, as well as his ministry and of course his family above anything else. He showed his love for others through actions that spoke louder than words, making sure everyone always felt safe and secure around him.
The bond he built with his parents was unbreakable and deeply treasured. The way he honored his parents and the love that poured from his pores for them was priceless. His mother was more than a mother, she was his confidante, his friend, his first and only love. He gave his mother the love that he never gave to another woman and there was no time when his mother did not tell him how important and valuable he was to her life. His father was his role model, his great incomparable treasure, they were the best of friends, and he never did anything without his dad’s approval. For Julián, his father’s opinion was the most important thing in every decision he made.
He was blessed with a strong character, which gave him the ability to influence and guide many of his friends and especially his little sister, who was able to learn an endless number of lessons in their time together. We will miss him but we will always have him in our hearts.
