Cappadocia Turkish Mediterranean Cuisine was forced to temporarily close its doors last week after a health inspector cited at least a dozen violations.
An inspector from the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation visited the restaurant, which is located at 565 N Semoran Boulevard, on Wednesday, July 6 for a routine food inspection.
Twelve violations were cited during the inspection, including three considered high priority. Among the high priority violations was roach activity, as evidenced by around 10 roaches that were found around the premises. In addition to live roaches, the inspection revealed so many dead roaches that the inspector cited there were “too many to count.”
The restaurant was permitted to reopen its doors on the following day, Thursday, July 7.
