One man is dead and another one is seriously injured after a shooting this morning just a few blocks from a Sanford elementary school.
Sanford Police Department officers were called at around 10:58 a.m. on Thursday morning regarding a shooting that took place at a residence in the 100 block of Anderson Circle, just a few blocks away from Goldsboro Elementary School.
Upon arrival, officers discovered one deceased man and another man that was seriously injured.
Police say the information appears to be isolated in nature and that they have no further information at this time.
