The Orlando Police Department issued 2014 traffic citations for speeding during a weeklong operation that recorded at least one motorist traveling over 100 mph on I-4 Express.

During this year’s Operation Southern Slow Down, the OPD Motors Unit made contact with 278 travelers who were speeding in the I-4 and I-4 Express lanes.

Of the 278 travelers, 204 received citations for speeding. One of those citations was issued to a driver whose vehicle was recorded traveling at 112 mph in the I-4 Express lanes.
