A father who allegedly killed his 3-year-old daughter before stabbing and seriously injuring his 12-year-old and himself, was transported to the Seminole County Jail after spending a week in the hospital recovering from self-inflicted injuries.

Juan Bravo-Torres, 39, was transferred to the Seminole County Jail on Friday, just over one week after he was arrested by Longwood police. Bravo-Torres had been receiving treatment at a local hospital for self-inflicted injuries during the incident, which took place on Thursday, July 21.

During that incident, Bravo-Torres allegedly stabbed his 3-year-old daughter to death and attempted to kill his 12-year-old daughter. After attacking the 12-year-old, Bravo-Torres dragged both girls into the bathroom and cut his own wrists and throat.

Bravo-Torres is facing charges of first degree murder and attempted first degree murder. His next court date is scheduled for August 30 at 1:30 p.m., according to Seminole County Jail records.
