Two people were injured and a suspect was arrested after a shooting in downtown Orlando just before midnight on Sunday.

After hearing several gunshots, Orlando Police Department officers responded to the area of East Pine Street and South Court Avenue at 11:55 p.m. on Sunday.

Upon arrival, police discovered an adult female victim suffering from a gunshot wound in front of 23 South Court Avenue. A second victim was also found suffering from a gunshot graze inside Celine nightclub, which is located at 22 South Magnolia Avenue.

Both the female and male victims were transported to the Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The victims are expected to recover, according to authorities.

After the incident, suspect information was relayed to officers working downtown.

Authorities say that officers witnessed the suspect, 32-year-old Wulner Durand, fleeing the area and were able to apprehend him without incident at East Church Street and South Orange Avenue.
