A pivotal trail that will connect the south of downtown Orlando to the Urban Trail and the future Downtown Loop was completed this month.

On September 1, city officials gathered to celebrate the christening of the South Downtown (SoDo) Urban Trail Extension. SoDo Neighborhood Improvement District and SoDo Main Street District representatives, along with Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orlando City Commissioner Patty Sheehan, celebrated the completion of the new trail with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
