The Mennello Museum of American Art will host this year’s edition of the Indie Folkfest this weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday, October 8, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the museum, which is located at 900 East Princeton Street in Orlando.
The free event is family and pet-friendly, and will showcase the community’s local artists and food vendors. It will be hosted outdoors in the museum’s lakeside sculpture garden.
The festival will be emceed by Blue Star, and will feature Don Rimx and music by Beemo, Beth McKee & Swamp Sistas, Oak Hill Drifters, Shine and the Shakers, and multiple other music artists.
Over 40 independent vendors will be featured, including artist and artisans, restaurants, bars, and food trucks, including La Femme du Fromage, Courtesy Bar, Swine & Sons, Hanson’s, Coterie Coffee, Kelly’s Ice Cream, Cholo Dog, and Thirsty Topher, among others.
