A resident who sustained a serious injury was lifted from their apartment by Orlando Fire Department crews who responded to the incident.
Orlando Fire Department crews were called to a local apartment complex after a resident reportedly fractured a hip from a fall. The resident was on the second floor of an apartment complex building when the injury occurred.
The resident was boarded and crews say the stairwell was too narrow to carry the board down. As a result, Tower 15 placed the resident in a stokes basket in the balcony of the apartment and lowered them to the ground for transport.
