Orlando Ballet presents The Nutcracker

A Christmas classic begins a two-week stay at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Friday.

The Orlando Ballet presents The Nutcracker with multiple shows beginning Friday, December 2, through Sunday, December 18. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Sunday, with 2 p.m. shows scheduled for multiple Sundays.

The play follows the story of a young girl, Clara, as she explores the fantasy world of the Mouse King, the Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mother Ginger.

Tickets to the show start at $29. The shows will be performed in the center’s Steinmetz Hall, which celebrated its grand opening in January 2022.
