A fourth person has succumbed to injuries sustained during an explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Orange County last week.
According to authorities, 22-year-old Elizabeth Tiralongo is the fourth person to die in the aftermath of the explosion, which took place on Thursday, December 1, at 901 Central Florida Parkway.
Tiralongo and three of her coworkers, 24-year-old Landon Bourland, 22-year-old David Gonzalez, and 23-year-old Lindsey Phillips, all lost their lives during the incident, which produced multiple explosions and drew dozens of emergency units in response.
Over 80 firefighters and 30 emergency units worked to douse the flames during the incident.
All four individuals worked for Magic in the Sky, a pyrotechnic company that services local theme parks.
According to the company, during the incident there were eight employees on site, including five who were inside the facility and three in the parking lot. Four of the five individuals inside the facility have since succumbed to their injuries.
The lone survivor from the incident, Lindsey Tallafuss, is hospitalized and has already had at least one surgical procedure as of Sunday. A GoFundMe has been established to help Tallafuss and her family pay for medical expenses.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal. No firefighters received injuries, according to authorities.
