A new bar and bistro has opened its doors in Hunter’s Creek.

Palate Bistro & Bar is now open for business at 3900 Town Center Boulevard, in the south Orlando community of Hunter’s Creek. The restaurant replaces Melbourne Seafood Station, which closed up shop this past August after less than three years at the location.

The menu at Palate Bistro & Bar is a simple one, with offerings of small plates, soups and salads, and entrees. Appetizers include a mini beef Wellington, coconut curry shrimp kebabs, honey mint grilled brie, and spiced tzatziki meatballs, among others.

Pesto shrimp pasta, bronzed salmon, gulf grouper, and a collection of other entrees all range in price from $14 to $49 for a 12-ounce, parmesan-crusted ribeye. Multiple entrees, including the grilled filet mignon, will not be available at the restaurant until later this week.

The restaurant is currently open seven days a week beginning at 4 p.m. It closes at 10 p.m. ever day, and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The company hopes to incorporate lunch hours sometime next month.
