A new cafe has joined a slate of others in downtown Orlando.
CityArts Café is now open for business at 37 S Magnolia Avenue. The cafe is part of the Downtown Arts District’s CityArts gallery, which occupies the Historic Rogers-Kiene Building.
The menu at CityArts Café features pastries, coffees, teas, and non-coffee options. The cafe serves breakfast until 12 p.m. and lunch from 12 p.m. until close.
Breakfast options include parfaits, toasts, and bagels, among others, while lunch features salads, sandwiches, and soups.
The business partners with Javatino, which manages and operates the café and uses artisan roasters that brew coffee that is USDA Certified Organic.
Part of the proceeds at the café goes towards helping support local artists.
CityArts Café joins multiple other restaurants and cafes that have celebrated grand openings in downtown in recent months.
That includes the first Indian restaurant in downtown Orlando, Urban Turban, which opened its doors across the street from the gallery in November, as well as Stemma Craft Coffee, which opened a location along Orange Avenue in October.
Additionally, Double O’s Coffee is currently building out a new drive-thru coffee shop near the intersection of Colonial Drive and Magnolia Avenue.
In total, Downtown Orlando boasts over a dozen cafes, including The Robinson, Craft and Common, Deeply, CREDO, Starbucks, Foxtail, Mecatos, and Bynx, among several others.
CityArts Café is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. For more information on the cafe, or to order online, visit the CityArts Café website.
