Government officials gathered on Thursday to celebrate the start of construction on a new little league complex coming to Dr. Phillips.
Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and District 1 Commissioner Nicole Wilson joined members of the community and the Orange County Parks and Recreation Department on Thursday, January 26, to break ground on the new Dr. Phillips Little League Complex.
The new complex will feature four dedicated grass fields and will be situated near the corner of Bissell Street and Buenavista Woods Boulevard in south Orlando.
“This new complex will deliver a world-class experience to players and fans in Orange County,” reads a statement from the county.
