Orange County officials will host a free hazardous and electronic waste disposal event this weekend.
The community collection event will take place on Saturday, February 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Freedom High School, which is located at 2500 W. Taft Vineland Road in Orlando.
Hazardous waste and electronics include paint, batteries, fluorescent lightbulbs, cooking oil, pesticides, cell phones, computers, televisions, stereos, and CD players, among others.
No commercial waste will be accepted, and paint and chemical waste is limited to 25 gallons per vehicle.
