Melvin LeRoy Miller

Melvin LeRoy Miller passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 7, 2023 in Orlando, Florida. Melvin was born in Niles, Michigan on June 29, 1937 to Lloyd and Florence Miller.

Melvin spent 4 years in the United States Navy and moved to Orlando, Florida in 1970. Melvin was a Printer for his entire career and was one of the first to learn and run a 4 color printing press.

Melvin enjoyed spending time with family grilling out, camping, hunting and playing cards. Melvin loved to learn new things and he enjoyed reading, watching Westerns and keeping up to date on world news, weather and of course the politics.

Melvin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Victoria Miller, Orlando; His children; Daughter, Debra Miller, Orlando; Sons, Michael Miller (Sabrina) Orlando, Jeffery Miller, New Mexico and Brian Miller (Wendi) Umatilla; Grandchildren, Michael Miller, Timothy Miller, Amanda Gonzalez (Michael), Austin Miller (Ashley) and Isabella Miller (Paul Fitzgerald).

Melvin (Popeye) felt great joy knowing and spending time with his Great GrandChildren , Weston Miller, Everleigh Miller, Kannon Miller, Olivia Fitzgerald and Leland Fitzgerald. His Sisters; Virginia (Larry) Michigan and Nancy (Charles) Texas and many Brother and Sister in-law’s Massachusetts and Michigan.

Celebration of Life Service to be held Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:30 am. AT DeGusipe Funeral Home. 9001 North Orlando Avenue, Maitland, Florida 32751.
