Shirley C. Williams age 86, of Sanford, Florida passed away January 6, 2023. She was born May 13, 1936 in Hughes, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Mon Jeu Hong and Shee Lum May Qui.
Shirley came to Florida in the 1960’s first settling in Jacksonville, before coming to Sanford. She was the administrative assistant for Central Florida Regional Hospital for 40 years prior to her retirement; where she was awarded the Doctor Frist Humanitarian Award. Shirley was also a faithful member of Palmetto Avenue Baptist Church, serving in the children’s and ladie’s ministries for several years.
Along with her parents she was predeceased by one granddaughter Victoria Williams in 2006, and one son Jaydean Williams in 2021.
Shirley is survived by her son Pastor Ron (Kathy) Williams, daughter-in-law Kristy Williams, five grandchildren JohnMark (Betsy) Williams, Anita (Sinclair) Cason, Ashley (Rob) Bellew, Jonathan (Laura) Williams, and Jason (Jane) Williams. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren Jeremiah Williams, Jenna Williams, Jadon Cason, Jace Cason, Jansen Cason, Emma Williams, Jessa Williams, Christian Rodriguez, and Oscar Rodriguez.
