The Orlando City Soccer Club unveiled a new jersey design that it will wear during the upcoming season.
On Saturday, the team revealed its new primary jersey, The Wall Kit, which draws its namesake from the supporter section at Exploria Stadium.
The Wall Kit is now available for purchase at The Den, or through the Orlando City mobile shop.
The jersey features the team’s classic purple color and incorporates metallic gold embellishments to pay homage to the team winning last year’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy.
The front of the jersey features a pattern that represents the individuals that come together to form “an object stronger than the sum of its parts,” according to the team.
“Our supporters have continuously served as the heartbeat of our stadium, from the moment they begin their march down Church Street to the continuous drumbeat that paces our players all 90 minutes,” said Orlando City SC CMO Pedro Araujo. “We are proud to unveil a kit that represents and pays tribute to the loyalty, passion and energy that they bring each match. We’re excited to have our fans ‘Man Every Wall’ – from the front row to the top of stadium and all around our 360-degree bowl – as we get the season underway and show why our supporters are the best in Major League Soccer.”
The Orlando City Lions begin their regular season on Saturday, February 25 against the New York Red Bulls.
