Another attack was perpetrated at an Orlando bus stop over the weekend, marking the third such attack this month.
On Saturday, February 25, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received reports of an attack at a bus stop at Hiawassee Road and Hennepin Boulevard. The attack took place at around 6 a.m.
The suspect was wearing a mask and had a gun, according to police.
“OCSO does and will continue to have additional patrols in the area, in both marked and unmarked vehicles,” said the sheriff’s office in a statement posted to social media.
The incident follows two others that took place earlier this month on February 2 at a nearby bus stop.
Those attacks, which also took place during the early morning hours, involved a man robbing and sexually assaulting two women at two different times while they were waiting at a bus stop on Hiawassee Road and River Oaks Drive.
The victims say the man was dressed entirely in black and wore a black mask. Both victims say that he was 5’3″ or 5’4″ tall.
