A burger restaurant that got its start in 1991 in Delaware is opening its second Orlando-area location.
Wayback Burgers is moving into 11901 Landstar Boulevard in Orlando, according to the company’s website. The restaurant joins a sister location at 2855 North Old Lake Wilson Road in Kissimmee, which opened its doors over five years ago.
Known for its trademark burgers, Wayback Burgers serves a slate of classic and regionalized combinations, including a Big Easy burger with Cajun remoulade and a Carolina burger with slaw and chili, among others.
In addition to its namesake, Wayback Burgers also features a collection of chicken options like tenders, sandwiches, and salads.
Wayback Burgers got its start in Newark, Delaware over 30 years ago when founder John Carter opened Jake’s Hamburgers. From 1991 to 2008, the brand grew to 10 locations and began franchising shortly thereafter. Currently, there are 170 locations across over 40 countries.
The restaurant is open seven days a week from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. For more information on its menu or other locations, visit the Wayback Burgers website.
