It is on this solemn day, and with the heaviest of hearts, that the family announces the unexpected passing of Lester Alfonso, 32, on April 3, 2023 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Lester was born on June 5, 1990 in Camaguey, Cuba from loving parents Maria Ofelia Lopez and Vladimir Alfonso.
Lester leaves to cherish the memories of his life, parents, Maria Ofelia Lopez and Vladimir Alfonso; fiance, Joanna Tamiko Aull; aunts and uncles, Mairelys Vega, Greter Vega, and Eblis Vega; primos, Juan Gabriel Santos, Elier Vega, Eilem Vega and Henry Alfonso; grandparents, Dolores Rodriguez, Ofelia Lopez and Evis Vega; and well as extended family, other relatives, and sorrowful friends that will miss him dearly.
Lester was an amazing human being that impacted the life of many and will be greatly missed by all. Though his loss shots a painful ripple through the hearts of all those who have had the blessing of knowing him, we must now unite in celebration of a vibrant life which was let with such joy, such love, such promise and such light.
Lester if preceded in death by his uncle, Angel Alvarez (Alipio) and grandmother, Maria Diaz (Yeyi).
