A local group of vegetarians will host a celebration to commemorate Earth Day this weekend.

The Vegetarians of Central Florida will host Central Florida Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Lake Eola Park, which is located at 512 E Washington Street in downtown Orlando.

Billed as the largest and longest-running Earth Day festival in the region, the free, vegan event will feature multiple educational exhibits and activities. The event is dog and family-friendly, with alcohol and smoke prohibited.
