A popular festival that features artists and foliage displays will return to Apopka for its 61st installment this weekend.
The Apopka Art & Foliage Festival will take place on Saturday, April 29 (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.) and Sunday, April 30 (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.) at Kit Land Nelson Park, which is located at 10 N Forest Avenue in Apopka.
The event will feature fine arts and crafts, food vendors, foliage, a kids’ zone, school art, and live entertainment.
Awards will be given to artists for a variety of categories, including best of show and judge’s choice. Fine art will be represented in multiple mediums, including painting, drawing, pastel, printmaking, mixed media, photography, ornamental pottery, sculpture, glassware, and stained glass.
Food vendors include Tijuana Flats, The King’s Nuts, Outback Snack Shack, Linda’s Hot Dogs and More, and Grillmasters BBQ, as well as others.
