Eighteen men ranging in age from 20 to 77 years old were arrested after they were caught in a prostitution sting in Orange County earlier this month.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrests of the 18 men on Friday, April 28. According to police, the men are accused of attempting to hire prostitutes for sex.

In fact, the man were actually soliciting undercover deputies, not prostitutes.

“Don’t come to Orange County looking to pay for sex,” reads a statement from OCSO.

The eighteen men arrested were as follows:

Peter Israeil, Luis Vazquez Pacheco, Giovanni Copeland, Christopher Windsor, Jose Nierra Santiago Alvarez, Julio Salaya Garcia, Thanh Nguyen, Luis Portuguez, Ronald Renzi, Ronald Liendo, Fernando Salaya Mana, Narciso Arias, Juan Salaya Geronimo, Oscar Perez Herrera, Erasmo Lopez Ramirez, Bruno Medeiro De Amorium, Andres Pioquinto, Matthew Chavel

According to court records, each man was charged with solicitation of a prostitute, which is a misdemeanor.

Late last year, Volusia County police arrested 18 individuals on various charges connected to a human trafficking prostitution operation that ran during Biketoberfest.
