On April 25, 2023 we suddenly lost our beloved Teresa George at the age of 66 to an unfortunate circumstance.
She will be forever missed by her family, friends and her 2 pets, Trixie and Bodhi, as well as her coworkers at Orlando Health.
After graduating from Florida State University, Teresa was a devoted health practitioner and registered dietician for over 20 years in Orlando Florida.
A true testament of her passion for her work. She also enjoyed several years in the printing business in both California and Hawaii before moving to Florida.
Teresa loved reading, gardening, travel, exercising, movies and her precious kitties. Her favorite food was pizza, her favorite color was green and her favorite spirit animal, the dragonfly.
She was also inspired by her faith and the local Mosaic Christian Church in Ocoee Florida which led her to travel to Israel to be baptized in the Jordan River; an event that changed her life.
Teresa is survived by her mother, Janis McCartney of East Liverpool, Ohio, her sister Rebecca Sydney of Ithaca, New York, her sister Loretta Jurasko of Ocoee, Florida, her extended family brother Kevin Easterday of East Liverpool, Ohio and her many, many cousins and relatives. Her brother Bernard George passed in 1999 at the age of 39. Her father, Roy George, passed in 1976.
Teresa cared deeply for her friends and was loyal to the end.
Teresa was a courageous woman; independent, self sufficient, caring, a passionate worker, intelligent and above all, an integral part of the family. Teresa’s absence is painfully missed, a void that cannot be filled. A beautiful person, all and all, and taken too soon.
Rest in Peace Teresa – all our love surrounds you and the life you shared will remain in our hearts and memories. May your spirit be with us always.
