One of the three juveniles who was struck by gunfire outside of Dezerland Park on Saturday has died from his injuries.

On Monday, Orlando Police Department officials issued a statement about the shooting that injured three 14-year-old boys at the park, which is located at 5250 International Drive in south Orlando.

One of the victims, 14-year-old Trevon Robinson of Hillsborough County, had suffered critical injuries as a result of the shooting. Police say that in the hours since, Robinson has succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

The second victim remains in the hospital in critical, but stable, condition, while the third victim has been released from the hospital.

During the incident on Saturday, OPD units responded to the scene at around 11:43 p.m. after receiving calls regarding a shooting.

According to OPD, a large group of juveniles was loitering on the property before the group dispersed and began walking through the parking lot. As the group was walking, a shooter fired several rounds into the crowd.

The three juveniles that were struck by gunfire were all transported to the Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

“We do not have a suspect identified at this time. This remains a very active investigation and our homicide detectives continue to follow-up on all leads,” reads a statement from OPD.
