Multiple students were evacuated for precautionary measures after a fire broke out a building at Rollins College.
Last night, crews from the Winter Park Fire Rescue responded to the Cornell Fine Arts Center located at 1000 Holt Avenue, at the Rollins Museum of Art, after receiving reports of a fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters located a dumpster fire in a trash room. While the fire was contained to the trash room, smoke travelled throughout the building.
The fire alarm system was triggered and notified students, prompting a precautionary evacuation.
Crews were able to put out the fire and remained on scene to ventilate the building.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
