Emergency crews were called to a fire at a chicken coop in Ocoee earlier today.
On Tuesday, May 23, Orange County Fire Rescue firefighters were called to 10000 Mark Adam Road in Ocoee after receiving calls regarding a chicken coop on fire.
Upon arrival, crews found a 1,000 square-foot chicken coop that was fully involved with flames. The coop was evacuated and the fire was extinguished a short time later.
Although many eggs and cartons were burned, it is unknown if any chickens were killed in the fire, according to OCFR.
The state fire marshal was notified of the incident and the fire is being investigated.
