Oanh Kim Thi Le, age 62, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born into a large family of four brothers and three sisters, she was the beloved daughter of her parents, Kieu Le and Chanh Tran. She brought joy to their lives.
At the age of 10, Oanh experienced a life-altering accident that resulted in a brain injury and a subsequent learning disability. Undeterred by this challenge, she embraced homeschooling and dedicated herself to helping her mother manage a small family business. Oanh’s unwavering work ethic and determination were evident throughout her life, inspiring those around her.
In 1982, Oanh settled in the United States, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future. She joined the Walt Disney Company and became a valued member of the team at the Walt Disney World Caribbean Resorts. Oanh’s dedication and commitment to her work were exemplary, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and guests alike.
In July 1988, Oanh found love and companionship when she married Quang Anh Nguyen. Their enduring partnership stood as a testament to their bond, and they cherished the years they spent together.
Oanh Kim Thi Le will forever be remembered for her strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit. Her dedication to her family, her remarkable work ethic, and her ability to overcome adversity serve as an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Oanh was predeceased by her parents Kieu and Chanh. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Quang Anh Nguyen, her brothers, Dung, Tien, Paul, and Michael, sisters, Loan, Van, and Thuỷ, and extended family. Although she has departed from this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
