Howard Robinson, beloved husband of 61 years to his wife, Gail, passed away peacefully in Orlando, FL on June 15. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts on October 2, 1933, to Nathaniel Robinson and Tillie (Gordon) Robinson, who emigrated from Russia, Howard attended Penn State and subsequently began a career in retail management.
Ever upwardly mobile, Howard ultimately transferred to Florida where he was introduced to Gail and the couple married shortly thereafter. A talented athlete, Howard was a tennis enthusiast and had the family all playing from an early age. He passed along his love for music, piano, education and reading. A practical man of the times, he worked with his hands at home both inside and out; a gift of self-reliance, curiosity, and perseverance given to his children.
As an accomplished leader and businessman, Howard left the retail world and became the owner of his own firm centered on mergers and acquisitions, earning a great reputation for his business ethics, knowledge, and ability to bring opportunities to a successful conclusion. He ran his business for over 30 years until his retirement.
A quiet and approachable man, he is remembered for his kind heart, gentle manner, and steadfast loyalty to his wife, family, and friends. He will forever be remembered, loved and missed. Howard is survived by his wife Gail (Rubin) Robinson, son Ian (Jean-Marie Grono) Robinson, daughter Tamie (Lee) Bressler, grandchildren Jacob, Jonah, Nicole, Katie, Rachel (Ryan), and Adam, and nieces and nephews.
May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.
