A fire tore through a homeless camp in Sanford on Friday.
Seminole County Fire Department and Sanford Fire Department units responded to a homeless camp at Old Lake Mary Road and Egrets Landing Drive at around 4:15 p.m. on Friday, August 4.
Upon arrival, crews found a homeless camp that was engulfed in flames.
The fire produced a minor delay to SunRail services in the area as crews worked to ensure that the rails would be safe.
There were no injuries reported and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
