A 63-year-old man was killed after his motorcycle struck a curb along an Orange County Road, ejecting him from the vehicle.
The fatal accident took place near the intersection of Pine Hills Road and Ferdinand Drive on Thursday, August 17, at 10:44 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man, who was from Englewood, Colorado, was driving a 2011 Harley Davidson Motorcycle southbound on Pine Hills Road, approaching Ferdinand Drive in the inside lane.
The man was changing lanes from the inside lane to the outside lane when he lost control of the vehicle and ran off the roadway.
As he was driving off the roadway, the man’s motorcycle struck a curb and ejected him from the vehicle.
He was transported to Orlando Health Central Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
