The Sanford Fire Department is celebrating its 150th anniversary with a mural ribbon-cutting ceremony this week.
The ceremony will be on Tuesday, August 29, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Paulucci Park (E. 1st Street and Sanford Ave.).
The public is invited to join the Sanford Fire Department to witness the unveiling of a new mural dedicated to the bravery and dedication of the city’s firefighters.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will bring the community together to honor the men and women who have served the community over the last 150 years.
