Robert Bowen, 55, Orlando, departed this life on Saturday, August 26, 2023. Robbie was born on September 8, 1967 in Clarendon, Jamaica, WI to Olive M. and Henry Bowen. Robert was employed as security officer with Universal Protection Services prior to his demise.
He was a caring, trustworthy, kind hearted and respectable man. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family. He loved his Jamaican culture and traditions, which he passed on to his children. Robert was a provider, a hard worker and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Robbie is survived by his wife, Lurline Bowen; children, Stacy Bowen-Malcolm, Tamika Cockrell, Deja Barnes; 4 brothers; 11 sisters; and a host other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.
A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Postell’s Mortuary Chapel, Orlando with Apostle Kevin Holmes, officiating.
An Interment will be at the Orlando Memorial Gardens, Apopka, FL.
