Walt Disney World unveiled a new license plate this week that will benefit local Make-A-Wish Foundations.

On Tuesday, the company announced that the license plate would be available through local tax collectors’ offices this week.

“Our newly redesigned Walt Disney World specialty license plate will continue to directly benefit Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida, helping grant even more wishes for children facing critical illnesses and their families,” reads a statement from Disney.

The company, which first introduced a specialty license plate during its 50th Anniversary Celebration, says it has raised over $2 million for local Make-A-Wish chapters through the license plate sales.

“Disney is our largest wish granter in the world, and they know just how important it is to create joy and hope for children and families who need it most,” said Anne Cuba, President & CEO of Make-A-Wish Central and Northern Florida.

Registered car owners may purchase the new plate by visiting a local tax collector’s office. To find your nearest office, visit the Florida Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles website.

Earlier this year, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles unveiled a new design for its classic “Protect the Panther” license plate.
