A mid-autumn festival this weekend will celebrate a lunar holiday with a lantern parade.
The Moon over Avalon festival will take place on Saturday, September 23, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Avalon Town Park, which is located at 3651 Avalon Park E Blvd. in Orlando.
All are welcome to celebrate the lunar holiday at this free mid-autumn festival, which will feature kid’s arts and crafts, live entertainment, over 18 food trucks, and over two dozen vendors. Attendees can also build and decorate their own lantern to carry in the lantern parade.
There will be live performances throughout the event. The event is free to attend and parking is also free. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
