SeaWorld Orlando recently released a virtual ride-through video of its new penguin-themed roller coaster, which will open next year.

The Orlando-based theme park released virtual video of Penguin Trek, its newest roller coaster, across its website and social media accounts last week.

The new ride will feature over 3,000 feet of track, as well as two separate launches, according to the promotional video.

Billed as a “family launch coaster,” the roller coaster will take riders through Antarctica at up to 43 mph. The minimum height requirement is 42″, according to the park.

The parks says the ride will open in “2024,” but did not specify further.

The roller coaster joins two other roller coasters that have opened at SeaWorld Orlando since last year: Pipeline, a surf-style roller coaster that opened in May, and Ice Breaker, a steel roller coaster that opened in February 2022.
