A new business that bills itself as a Halal Mexican restaurant specializing in birria tacos is opening its doors just south of downtown Orlando.
Talkin’ Tacos will celebrate its grand opening at 3123 South Orange Ave, Suite 106 in Plaza Ecco on Friday, November 17. The new business is located within Orlando’s South Downtown (SoDo) District.
According to the company, the first 100 people in line at the restaurant for their grand opening will receive a free order of birria tacos.
As its names suggests, Talkin’ Tacos features a collection of different taco options, including carne asada, birria, Caribbean, chicken Achiote, and mahi mahi, among others.
In addition to its taco options, the restaurant also features burritos, rice bowls, loaded nachos, and a various sides, including rice, guacamole, refried beans, and jalapeƱo queso.
Founded in South Florida in 2020 as a food truck by two best friends, the business has expanded dramatically over the years and is in the process of opening new locations all around the state of Florida.
According to its website, the restaurant is currently open six days a week, Saturday through Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hours may vary in the coming weeks.
