A boutique hotel in Winter Park has opened a stylish, modern café space after extensive renovations.
The Alfond Inn celebrated the opening of its new café on November 16 at 300 E New England Avenue in Winter Park.
The new café serves coffee, crepes, and light bites and will operate daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., according to the business.
“The Café is designed to be a welcoming open space, with long sightlines, warm wood and mid-century modern furnishings, with high top communal tables, as well as inviting private seating areas perfect for impromptu business meetings or quiet reflection of the Inn’s growing art collection,” reads a statement from the hotel.
The expansion of the hotel has been in the works for multiple years and also includes the additions of 71 guest rooms, a four-story atrium, and additional amenities.
Owned and operated by Rollins College, the institution claims The Alfond Inn is the only hotel in the country that serves as a “formal extension of an art museum.”
