All lanes on a stretch of Interstate 4 were closed after a truck burst into flames while traveling down the roadway.

The vehicle fire took place on Thursday, January 4, at around 7 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-4, near exits for Lake Mary and Sanford.

According to authorities, a pickup truck was driving westbound when the car caught fire.

Crews from the Seminole County Fire Department and Lake Mary Fire Department responded to the scene and shut down all lanes.

The driver was able to escape the vehicle and no injuries were reported.
