Edward Moskal, 65 of Orlando, FL formerly of Pittsburgh PA., passed away on January 1, 2024. Ed had a smile that lit up a room. There were no strangers to Ed, just another person for him to get to know. He had a way of making those around him laugh and his great sense of humor was known to all who knew him. Ed always had an interesting story or quip to tell. He loved history and enjoyed visiting places around the world, learning unique facts about the places that he visited. Ed and his wife Bernadette traveled to numerous places both in the states and abroad.

He loved working on home projects checking off the “Honey Do” list often resulting in frequent trips to “Home Depot”.

Ed was a sports enthusiast and was passionate about his hometown teams in Pittsburgh and his alma mater Penn State.

Ed had an engineering career that spanned over 35 years. He was a graduate from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, as well as master’s degrees in advanced engineering and Bio Medical Sciences.

Ed always had fond memories of the experiences and opportunities he had throughout his career. He began his career with Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Kvaerner, Lockheed Martin, and Northrop Grumman. During the span of his career Ed received numerous design awards and accolades. For all of you who worked with Ed thank you for making his work experience with you a memorable one.

Ed is survived by Bernadette, his beloved wife of Orlando, FL, one brother Ken Moskal of Pittsburgh, PA, a sister-in-law, Becky, and her husband Ralph, their two children Aaron and Megan, as well as a great niece Addison.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Myrtle Moskal.
