Luciana Lena Morris, also known as Luciana Lena McEwen, peacefully passed away on December 30, 2023, in Orlando, Florida, at the age of 90. She was born on November 29, 1933, in Maracaibo, Venezuela.

Luciana, affectionately called Lena by her loved ones, was a cherished sister, devoted mother, doting grandmother, and adored great-grandmother.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Patricia McEwen, and her children: Sandra Sawyer, Bernard Morris, Ricardo Morris, Gloria Bennett, and Raquel Brown. Lena was also deeply loved by her son-in-law, Anthony Brown, and daughter-in-law, Diane Morris. Her grandchildren, Alena Brandford, Louis Nelson, Moncrez Morris, Airess Morris, Gabriel Sawyer, Brandon Morris, Jasmine Morris, Anthony Brown Jr., and Jada Morris, brought immeasurable joy to her life. Additionally, Lena was blessed with great-grandchildren who brought her immense happiness.

Lena’s unwavering love for her country led her to serve with distinction in the military, proudly associated with Highland Funeral Home & Highland Memorial Gardens. Her commitment and dedication to her military service were commendable, and she took great pride in her contributions. Throughout her life, Lena found solace and strength in her faith. She worshipped at The Faith Center International Ministries, where she nurtured her spiritual journey and found a sense of belonging.

In her leisure time, Lena indulged in various hobbies that brought her immense pleasure. She delighted in traveling to new destinations, creating culinary masterpieces in the kitchen, gracefully dancing to her favorite tunes, and expressing her creativity through sewing and crocheting. Her love for reading allowed her to embark on countless literary adventures.

Luciana Lena Morris will forever be remembered as a remarkable woman whose warmth, love, and kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will be treasured, and her legacy will endure in the hearts of her family and friends.
