Dr. Pushpa Motiram Lalwani passed away peacefully in Windermere, Florida on January 18th, 2024 at the age of 87 years old.

Pushpa is survived by her husband Motiram A. Lalwani and sons Prakash Lalwani of Windermere, Florida, and Manoj Lalwani of Oviedo, Florida. Daughter-in-law Kanchan Lalwani of Oviedo, Florida. Grandchildren Rohan, Rishi, Bhavish of Windermere, Florida and Harshil and Mihir Lalwani of Oviedo, Florida. Her Brothers Puran Jattani and Shyam Jattani. Her Sisters Madhu Bakhru, Ramini Jattani, Yashodra Chatpar and Lily Nariani.

Pushpa was born on February 10th,1936 in Karachi, Pakistan to Mr.Jethanand Matanomal Jattani and Jamna Parmanand Chaptar. She graduated from Grant Medical College in Mumbai, India in 1964 with her medical degree and then specialized in OB/GYN. She married Motiram Lalwani in April of 1964 right after graduation and was an arranged marriage. After marriage, they moved to Kuwait where she joined American Missionary Hospital as a full-time Gynacologist. She delivered over 2,500 babies in her career and established a private practice in Mumbai, India. She also participated in many charitable and social services in various Indian government hospitals. To help her children pursue further education she migrated to the U.S.A in 1986. From their on she dedicated her life to providing for her family. Additionally, she helped give holistic medical advice through the family-owned health food stores.

A funeral is scheduled for January 26,2024 at Maitland, Florida with cremation services to follow. Pundit Bupendra Shastri will officiate the ceremony, all are welcome to attend and pay their respects to the departed soul.
