Detectives are investigating a stabbing incident in Orlando that left one teenager dead and another critically injured on Friday night.
At around 11 p.m., deputies responded to a physical altercation near the Amscot located at 770 S Goldenrod Road, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
When deputies arrived on scene, they found two 16-year-old girls who had been stabbed.
Both teens were rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. One of the girls later died from her injuries.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office stated that the investigation is “active and ongoing.”
