Eddie Scott

Eddie Scott was born July 14, 1954 in Tildenville, Florida to parents, William Anderson and Carrie Legree. He attended Orange County Public Schools and completed his education in Job Corp. He earned his certification as an electrician and became an electrician by trade.

Eddie was raised in Orlando, Florida and was a loving and supportive father to all of his children and a father figure to all of their friends. He was a blessing to his community and would serve other endlessly performing tasks such as, cutting lawns, cooking food, and performing electrical work.

His favorite pastimes were cooking, fishing, riding his motor-cycle, and spending quality time with family. Eddie loved his grandchildren and would often take them along with him fishing, which was time they all thoroughly enjoyed and would look forward to.

He loved to cook and feed the entire community. He worked closely with City Commissioner Regina Hill and Simply Entertainment where he would cook for the City of Orlando functions and the Commissioner’s Annual Back-to-School Fairs.

Eddie later relocated to Washington, DC, where he attended Greater Fellowship Baptist Church in Washington, DC. He met his wife, Pamela in 2006. The two remained inseparable, and were united in Holy Matrimony in 2013, while residing in Washington. Eddie was a loving and loyal husband and provider. In recent years, the two returned to Orlando to be among family and friends. While in Orlando, he began to visit Deeper Life Assembly under the leadership of Dr. Amar Rambisoon.

Eddie was preceded in death by his Father, William Anderson; Mother, Carrie Legree; Brothers: William Scott and Ronnie Anderson; Sister, Pauline Gibson; and Daughter, Toneka Scott.

He leaves to cherish his memory…his loving Wife, Pamela SmithScott of Orlando, Florida; Sons: Eddie Scott, Jr. (Andrea), Eddie Scott, III (Janet), Jason Scott, and Antwan Perry (Monique), all of Orlando, Florida; Daughters: Julie Scott (Jerome), Chelisa Scott Reeves (Troy), Tiffanie Reddick, and Tamika Saffold (Lee), all of Orlando, Florida; Brothers: Larry Legree, Donald Anderson, and Robert Anderson, all of Orlando, Florida; Sisters: Gayle Anderson (Damon), Leshawn Anderson, and Doreen Luckett, all of Orlando, Florida; 32 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
