Clermont police are searching for four men who allegedly stole gaming devices from a local BJ’s Wholesale Club.

According to the Clermont Police Department, three male suspects entered the BJ’s located at 2577 S Highway 27 in Clermont on Saturday, April 27, 2024. They then proceeded to grab several gaming/electronic devices.

CPD stated that one of the suspects hid behind pallets and shelves while removing the anti-theft sensors from the packaging. The three suspects then walked past the cash registers before exiting the store with the unpaid merchandise.

A few days later, at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, two of the three men allegedly involved in the previous theft returned to the same BJ’s with a fourth male suspect, according to CPD.

While inside the store, the suspects were observed taking additional gaming/electronic devices before passing all points of sale with the stolen items. The police department stated that employees located anti-theft devices near several pallets inside the store.

“The suspects (then) got into a gray Chrysler 200 and fled in an unknown direction,” stated CPD on social media.
