Donna Del Vecchio

Donna Del Vecchio, 68, of Winter Springs, FL, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024.

She was born in Birmingham, AL. Donna was Catholic. She worked as an administrative assistant for almost 40 years at Walt Disney World.

Donna was the beloved daughter of Robert M. Vann II and Dorothy N. Vann, both of whom have preceded her in death.

Donna was a devoted and loving wife to her husband Robert S. Del Vecchio up until his passing in 2007.

She was survived by her only child Samantha Leigh Del Vecchio. She was absolutely the best most wonderful mother in the world. She was extremely close to her daughter and spent a lot of time with her. She was also extremely close to both of her siblings Deborah Pontier and Robert M. Vann III who also survive her. Donna was a devoted sister who loved her siblings so much.

She was a beloved aunt to Justin, Jessica, Devin, Gianna, Andrew, and Ava. She absolutely adored her nieces and nephews and loved doting on them and spending time with them. She is survived by many members of her husband’s family including Mr. and Mrs. Tom and Amy Del Vecchio, her brother and sister in law, and nieces and nephews who loved Donna and were loved by Donna very much.

Donna loved spending time with her best Friend Jane Moon whom she was best friends with since she was 19 and with whom she would craft.

She loved going to the beach. She loved traveling with her daughter Samantha. She was an absolutely phenomenal baker. She loved music. She was extremely strong and tough. But also she was so generous and kind and loved spoiling the children of her family.

Donna will be so very missed and has left a void in the lives of many of her friends and family.
